Depending on whether you want to stay on the development branch or only get updates with each release, you will want to adjust your pkg(5) origin URL for the opensolaris.org authority. There are more details in a thread in indiana-discuss. The summary is invoke

$ pfexec pkg set-authority -O http://pkg.opensolaris.org/release \

    opensolaris.org

to be on the releases-only branch, and

$ pfexec pkg set-authority -O http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev \

    opensolaris.org

to remain on the development branch.
